ABSORGEL® – hanging – is a simple and safe product, delivered in a tubular plastic film package and ready to absorb moisture. It contains harmless calcium chloride. As soon as the tube is removed from the transparent outer film and hung up, the highly hygroscopic salt begins absorbing moisture from the surrounding air. The material is resistant to aging, heat and cold.

Calcium chloride is considered to be non-toxic, non-flammable and eco-friendly. It is not deemed hazardous to water supplies.
